Mira and the Mystics

Original Pilot

11-year old Mira belongs to a very unusual family: a travelling performing troupe called “The Mystics” who traverse a land shrouded in strange mist. Seeking a calling outside of performing, Mira documents her family's adventures in a travel guide, hoping to share her experiences and insights about each of the places she visits. Guided by her ferocious curiosity and empathy, Mira explores strange new cities to record their histories, while grappling with tough questions about her reporting, her identity, and what it means to 'belong'. Through it all, her family always has her back - and new adventures lie just beyond the horizon.
